Homemade Organic Prepared Horseradish

I found this recipe in The Better Homes and Gardens Food Processor Cookbook copyrighted in 1979 and adapted it to make it organic.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Here’s How I do it:

  1. In a food processor with a steel “S” blade, add the pieces of horseradish root.  Do not overfill.
  2. Process for 1-2 minutes, or until finely chopped.
  3. Add milk, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, salt and pepper.
  4. Process for 1 minute or until thoroughly blended.
  5. Store in a glass jar with a tight fitting lid and chill.
  6. Store in the refrigerator.
  7. Yields approximately 3/4 cup.
  8. Enjoy!
