Homemade Organic Mild Cherry Pepper Salsa

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 1 cup 1/2″ diced fresh organic tomatoes
  • 1 cup 1/2″ diced organic red onion
  • 2-3 organic garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1 cup unchlorinated and unfluoridated water
  • 3 Tbsp. jarred organic tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup 1/2″ diced organic frozen mixed red, yellow and green bell peppers
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped organic pickled cherry peppers
  • 2 Tbsp. Homemade Organic Pickled Jalapeno vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. organic 100% lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. Real Salt
  • 2 tsp. organic cane sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. organic paprika powder
  • 1/16 tsp. organic cayenne pepper (optional, for more heat)

Here’s How I do it:

  1. Add all ingredients to a 2 quart sauce pot; Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat and allow to simmer for 40 to 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Place salsa into a glass jar with a tight fitting lid and keep in the refrigerator.
  4. This recipe makes 2 cups of salsa.
  5. Enjoy!

Homemade Organic Mexican Fiesta Seasoning Blend

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 2 Tbsp. organic red chili pepper powder
  • 2 tsp. organic tomato powder
  • 2 tsp. organic paprika
  • 2 tsp. organic ground cumin
  • 2 tsp. organic dried cilantro
  • 2 tsp. organic dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. organic granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp. organic granulated onion
  • 1/4 tsp. organic cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. organic dried lemon peel

Here’s How I do it:

  1. Combine all spices into a small mixing bowl.
  2. Stir until well combined.
  3. Store in a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.

Homemade Organic Copycat Chipotle Pinto Beans

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 1 cup dry organic pinto beans
  • 4 cups unchlorinated and unfluoridated water
  • 1 Tbsp. organic rice bran oil; OR organic extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1-1/2 tsp. organic 100% lime juice
  • 1-1/2 tsp. organic 100% lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped organic yellow onion
  • 1 large organic garlic clove, minced
  • 1 organic bay leaf
  • 1 tsp. organic chipotle pepper powder
  • 1 tsp. organic ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. Real Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground organic black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. organic dried oregano

Here’s How I do it:

  1. Add all ingredients to a 2-quart pot; Bring to a boil, uncovered, for two minutes.
  2. Cover, and immediately reduce the heat; Simmer for 2 hours on low.
  3. Remove the bay leaf before serving.

Homemade Organic Copycat Chipotle Black Beans

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 1 cup dry organic black beans
  • 4 cups unchlorinated and unfluoridated water
  • 1 Tbsp. organic rice bran oil; OR organic extra-virgin olive oil

Homemade Organic Spicy Jalapeno Ketchup

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped organic yellow onion
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped organic garlic
  • 1 jar organic tomato paste (7 oz.)
  • 1/4 cup organic distilled white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Homemade Organic Pickled Jalapeno brine (for more heat, add some of the jalapeno seeds, too)
  • 1/2 cup unchlorinated and unfluoridated water, divided
  • 1/4 cup organic cane sugar
  • 1 tsp. Real Salt

Here’s How I do it:

  1. Add 1/4 cup water, onion and garlic to a 2-quart saucepan; Bring to a boil, reduce heat, then simmer for 1 minute.
  2. Mix all remaining ingredients into the saucepan and whisk until smooth.
  3. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Allow to cool completely before placing into a pint jar, straining the solids if desired.
  5. This is fine to eat immediately, but tastes even better the next day after being in the refrigerator.
  6. Enjoy!

 

Homemade Organic Copycat Chick-Fil-A Polynesian Sauce

According to the Chick-Fil-A Polynesian Sauce vs. Marzetti Honey French Dressing video, this recipe will also double as a copycat Marzetti Honey French Dressing recipe.

 Here’s What You’ll  Need:

  • 1/3 cup organic sunflower oil; OR organic olive oil
  • 1/3 cup unchlorinated and unfluoridated water
  • 1/4 cup organic cane sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. raw organic honey (local honey from real honeybees)
  • 2 Tbsp. organic raw apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. organic distilled white vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. organic tomato paste (not heaping)
  • 1 tsp. Real Salt
  • 1 tsp. organic paprika
  • 3/4 tsp. organic dry yellow mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. organic beet juice (from making Homemade Organic Roasted Beets)
  • 1/8 tsp. organic granulated onion
  • 1/8 tsp. organic granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp. organic arrowroot powder

Here’s How I do it:

  1. Mix all ingredients into a 2 quart Chef’s saucepan and whisk until smooth.
  2. Bring to a boil and immediately reduce to a simmer; Stir until thickened, approximately 3 minutes.
  3. This mixture will thicken as it cools.
  4. Allow to cool completely before placing into a pint jar.
  5. Place a tight-fitting lid onto the jar and place into the refrigerator.
  6. This is fine to eat immediately, but tastes even better the next day after being in the refrigerator.
  7. Enjoy!

Homemade Organic Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Here’s How I do it:

To Cook Macaroni:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° Fahrenheit.
  2. Bring 2 quarts of unchlorinated and unfluoridated water to a boil along with a pinch of salt.
  3. Add the macaroni to the water and cook until just under al dente, approximately 3-1/2 to 4 minutes; Strain, and top with a little bit of butter or organic extra-virgin olive oil to keep them from sticking.

To Make Cheese Sauce:

  1. In a medium chef’s saucepan, melt 3 Tbsp. butter over medium-high heat; Add 3 Tbsp. flour, yellow mustard, salt, and pepper; Stir until well combined, then cook for a minute.
  2. Add the milk to the butter mixture 1 cup at a time; Whisk in-between adding the milk to ensure that the sauce remains smooth.
  3. Once the mixture has thickened, begin adding cheeses one half-handful at a time; Stir in-between additions to keep the sauce smooth.

To Assemble Casserole:

  1. Place the cooked macaroni into an 8″ X 8″ casserole dish.
  2. Pour the cheese sauce on top of the macaroni and stir until well combined.
  3. Sprinkle the seasoned breadcrumb mixture on top of the casserole.
  4. Bake at 350° Fahrenheit for 35 minutes, or until the mixture is bubbling at the sides, the breadcrumbs are lightly browned and the cheese is melted on top.
